How will Hinterview's crowdfunding work?

At 09:00 on Wednesday July 1st, Hinterview will launch a Crowdfunding phase in PRIVATE mode, via Crowdcube, the UK's leading crowdfunding platform.

The initial opportunity is strictly limited to professionals from within the recruitment and talent community (agency, in-house, industry suppliers). If you would like to receive a link to view the opportunity, you simply need to email crowd@hinterview.com from a professional email address. We will confirm via LinkedIn that you are a professional in the recruitment and talent community, and you will be sent a copy of the investment opportunity via email. We will be holding daily webinars for people to learn more about the opportunity and about our business and our story so far.

If you decide to invest - however small the amount - we will guide you through the process step by step.

What is Crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a way of people investing smaller amounts of money into high-growth start-ups, in a way that would ordinarily be prohibitive for companies due to the vast amounts of administration involved. In many ways, it’s a democratization of what can be a confusing and intimidating experience for first-time investors, and it’s all designed to be as easy to understand as possible.

Who are Crowdcube?

Crowdcube are the UK’s best-known crowdfunding platform. Monzo, Mindful Chef and BrewDog are among best known of thousands of companies to raise money on the Crowdcube platform.

I don’t work in the recruitment & talent community, can I invest?

Possibly. The private campaign for recruitment and talent professionals only is open for 7 days, and we have allocated a certain number of shares to this campaign. If there is spare capacity, or if we decide based on demand to allocate further capacity, we may open the campaign up further on the Crowdcube platform. However, this is not guaranteed. Our advice to those interested is to email crowd@hinterview.com now and get the investment proposal ahead of the launch date.

Is there a minimum investment?

The minimum investment on Crowdcube is £10.

Does it qualify for EIS relief?

Yes. Assuming you are a UK tax-payer, you will qualify for 30% tax relief on your original investment. This is refunded to you via your annual tax return. Any financial gains at exit are also exempt from income tax and capital gains tax, making it a very attractive investment opportunity.
How do I get more information?

If you would like to learn more, feel free to reach out to Andy Simpson on LinkedIn, or email crowd@hinterview.com for further information.
