MG Search identify the very best senior talent with an emphasis on relationship building allowing them to understand their client’s business as they are their portal to the candidate world. MG Search need to identify the culture of a business and then source candidates that can not only perform the duties of the specific role but can also fit in with the culture of the business to help the further growth.
MG Search have seen the added value of Hinterview for both their clients and candidates. Within the Executive Search market, personality and capability to engage at all levels of the business is incredibly important. MG Search have used Hinterview to present a shortlist of candidates to a client with a video interview accompanied with their CV, summary details and their own interview notes.
This ease of use has allowed MG Search to work in partnership with the client on a retained executive search for a pivotal role. This position required a specific style of leadership generally not akin to the industry. When presenting candidates through Hinterview, clients felt that they got to know the candidates a lot better by “seeing them in action” at this initial stage. This allowed them to delve into more relevant questioning during the face to face interviews.
Although a video interview doesn’t replace the face-to-face meeting, it does allow the client to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the candidate ensuring an educated decision is made on who they bring forward to an onsite interview.
