The Role: Marketing Executive

About the role

Are you a super creative marketing executive looking to take ownership over content? We'd love to hear from you!

Over the next 1-2 years we’ll be building a best-in-class marketing function. As the Marketing Executive, you’ll be the second hire and will directly contribute to increasing our brand awareness and overall market share.

You’ll be working closely with the Head of Marketing to achieve the shared goals in the overall marketing plan.

Initially, this role will be focused on creating engaging written and visual content across our website, blog, email campaigns, and social media channels to drive website traffic and sales leads.

Key responsibilities

  • Content management: Taking ownership of the content calendar and regularly contributing topical ideas that align with the marketing strategy.
  • Content creation: Creating and distributing engaging marketing content across a range of channels to meet objectives (website, blog, email, social and events).
  • Visual editing: Capturing and editing visual content to drive engagement (photo and video).
  • Community management: Day-to-day social media management to grow our online community (including scheduling/reporting).
  • Campaign support: Supporting the marketing team to execute and report on campaigns as outlined in the marketing plan.

Key skills

  • 1-2 years’ experience creating engaging content across a range of marketing channels
  • Track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns to meet objectives
  • Good understanding of social media management, SEO, and analytics
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (or similar editing tools)
  • An excellent communicator with creative flair and plenty of ideas
  • Great attention to detail
