The Role: Junior Data Administrator

About us

Data is gold in the times we live in today. Therefore, during 2021 and beyond, we will be looking to build an intensely data-driven decision-making process. We’re looking for a junior-level data administrator to help us achieve these goals.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate, focussed and willing to learn. You need to be able to process large amounts of information and you are ultimately incredibly interested in the world of technology. You will not be expected to be the perfect product on day 1 and will be aided to develop your skills on the job. We are primarily looking for you to be on your Placement Year, on a Gap Year or have just graduated from University.

You’ll be closely working with all teams across the company, including Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Product, allowing you to learn from a variety of different areas. You will also have regular communication with senior members of our team, giving you an insight into a growing company’s business strategy. You will be working on projects which support our overall data strategy, helping us to revolutionise the way the company makes decisions on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the on-demand reporting for our business, using pre-developed models to provide reports to key senior stakeholders on request

  • Help with the testing process of new models and dashboards before rolling them out to the company

  • Ensure all of our data is clean and historical data has the relevant information

  • Conduct crucial research-reliant data gathering - this includes a more in depth and dynamic market analysis, industry research and profile data.

  • Aid with systems maintenance, liaising with senior members of the team to ensure their demands are met

  • Take ownership of projects from start to finish, including the research, gathering of data and eventually the processing of data.

  • Understand our long-term data strategy and make recommendations about how we can improve even more!

Key Skills

  • No professional experience necessary, however we expect you to be relatively mathematically minded, studying a Maths-related subject to A-Level

  • Understand how to undertake large research projects and be able to plan a strategy to conduct this research

  • Keen eye for detail and very process-minded

  • Great team player

  • The willingness to learn - you will be working with someone else who joined the company with very little experience and has been able to learn a lot from the company. If you are open-minded and willing to learn, you can learn an abundance of skills on the job
